... "Children should always do as their parents say, and always follow the religion of their parents." Judaism is the oldest monotheistic religion and dates back to 1900 BCE when Abraham and god made a covenant. This historic religion has gone through a lot of hard times to get where it is today e.g. getting led out of slavery in Egypt by Moses and the holocaust which started in 1949. Judaism has many strict rules and regulations which sometimes in a modern society can be hard to follow e.g. finding kosher foods in small towns and finding appropriate schools for children. I believe that when children get to an appropriate age and fully understand what religion is about they should have to choice to choose which ever religion they like. In a strict Orthodox family if the children decide to mix with other children that do not follow the same faith they
