In today's society I feel that one of the reasons why one in three marriages end in divorce is the general lack of forgiveness. I think that if people were more willing to forgive each other and work through their problems instead of taking the easy way out and getting a divorce, these statistics would decrease. Most couples experience some kind of difficulty in their marriages at some point. Triggers to these difficulties may be financial difficulties, overwork or even illness.
