However, divorces can have very disturbing affects, especially if children are involved. Both Christians and Muslims think divorce is not a very good and strongly discourage it. But, their approach towards it is different; this approach is reflected in the marriage ceremonies. In Christianity, it is believed that everything should be done to prevent divorce, but if this is not achievable then couples should have the choice of divorce. In the Roman Catholic Church, if a partner of a failed first marriage wanted to remarry, the second marriage would not be able to be blessed.
