Different Christians and churches have their own opinions and views on abortion and euthanasia. The Roman Catholic Church believes that abortion is wrong and that if you have an abortion then you are plain and simply committing murder. Unless of course it is the doctrine of double affect, this is when the mother has cancer and the treatment will kill the baby. The woman will be healed but the secondary affect will be the death of the baby. The Roman Catholic Church is very strict and would never allow abortion. This quote is from the Catechism of the Catholic Church. "Human life must be respected and protected from the moment of conception."
