Christians believe God created the earth and everything on it. The writes on Genesis tell us this, "So God created men in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." It also says to, "be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it." This for Christians means every person is created by God therefore Christians will see abortion as a serious sin. It is a serious sin in all circumstances according to the Roman Catholic Church. Catholic teaching is that life begins at conception and abortion is wrong on the basis that the unborn child is human.
