Explain how Christians might put their beliefs about abortion into action: Pro life and moderate pro life/pro choice Christians will act in different ways because they have different beliefs about abortion. Pro life Christians are against abortion, and so they might: * Join a non-religious pro-life organisation, for example LIFE, or SPUC. * They may campaign for the law to be changed by writing to their MP. * They may pray for mothers to change their minds about a termination. * They may encourage and counsel women to choose adoption rather than abortion. * Or, they may set up schemes to eliminate some of the reasons for a termination, for example the Catholic Church in Scotland offer Financial help and support to pregnant women who need it. Moderate Pro life/Pro choice Christians may do any of the following: * Campaign for the current abortion law to be amended still further, because scientific research has found that at 24...
