Rachel Third 10AT Religious Education Coursework Explain How Christians Might Put Their Beliefs About Abortion Into Action There are many ways in which Christians who are against abortion, or "ProLife" might put their beliefs into action. ProLife Christians would say they believe that all human life is equally valuable and that abortion denies a basic human right: the right to live. They believe that God values and planned for every life, as it says in Jeremiah 1:5, "I chose you before I gave you life... before you were born, I selected you to be a prophet to the nations." For this reason they could join the organisations SPUC or LIFE who campaign to make abortions illegal, and aim to persuade others that the destruction of life is always wrong. These organisations produce emotive anti-abortion posters and leaflets, campaign and protest for new laws, write letters to MPs, offer educational material for schools...
