Question A) Part i) The dictionary defines Abortion as "Induced termination of pregnancy, and expulsion of an embryo or foetus that is incapable of survival" but can be interpreted in many different ways depending on opinion. Part ii) Some Christians believe that life begins from conception; this is what they have been taught. "You knit me together in my mothers womb...my frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place... your eyes saw my unformed body" (Psalm 139). This psalm refers to "you" this "you" being God. This would suggest that God made this being from scratch and so it should be honoured. Also the commandment "You shall not kill" can be used to say that killing the unborn child is wrong, as it is still a human being. Christians may believe that abortion is wrong but there may be certain circumstances where this could be different. The Church...
