Statement of intent By completing this coursework I hope to find out more about abortion, the rules by which some women are allowed abortion, and different Christian churches views on abortion. I also hope to be able to make up my mind on whether abortion is right or wrong, bringing into consideration both sides of the argument. A (I). what is meant by the term abortion? An abortion is when the foetus is removed from the body before the pregnancy is completed. This can occur both naturally (a miscarriage or spontaneous abortion). Or a procured abortion where the foetus is removed and the pregnancy ended deliberately.
