A hundred candles The harsh light of reality glared down on Mr & Mrs.Weaver, as they sat huddled together in the waiting room, Marjorie clutching a luke-warm polystyrene cup of coffee, and Andrew clutching his wife. The pandemonium of A&E had been replaced by the eerie stillness of this room- the room where their future would unfold before their very eyes. There was an exhausted tension in the room & a feeling of sheer helplessness that only can be felt by those whose lives are utterly out of their own control. They sat anxiously trying to come to terms with the events of the past few hours, trying to understand how one seemingly insignificant day could go so horribly wrong, and in effect turn their whole world upside down..in the blink of an eye. Marjorie White met Andrew Weaver on the 13th May, 1985, when they were both studying Politics...
