There are several keywords in the title of this essay, to answer this question as fully as possible, then I need to identify them! I'm suggesting the keywords are "Orthodox", "Jewish" and "Shabbat", the easier of the three to explain are Orthodox and Jewish. Jewish, it roots from the word Jew, which is one of the worlds greatest religions, so when using the word Jewish, in context it is to identify and group, somebody by the religion they follow. Orthodox is one of the several denominations of the religion, an Orthodox Jew is somebody which has strict views on the original Mitzvot and will keep them, but there are such things as ultra-Orthodox Jews and these will live egsactly how they Mitzvot say to.
