"Peter is a good role model for Christians despite his faults". Do you agree? If someone is your role model you look up to him or her for support and guidance, like Peter did with Jesus. Peters role model was Jesus, both a teacher and a father to him because Peter left his family to go with Jesus (Mk 1:14-18) Jesus said to them, "Come with me, and I will teach you to catch people." At once they left their nets and went with him. This shows that Peter dedicated his life to Jesus and to God. Some people say that Peter is a good role model because Peter also gave up his whole family and friends to follow Jesus this was a tragic thing to do back then and still is now.
