When a Buddhist visits a Temple there are various rituals that are performed. Buddhists perform practices that you can see in shrines and temples, such as, bowing, prostration, lighting incense and candles, offering flowers and fruit, which is usually common in all traditions. Ceremonies are regularly held in Buddhists temples. All Buddhists offer at shrines. A shrine I treated with great respect and care. It is usually cleared every day. The food and the water are changed every day, and the vegetation is also regularly changed, but although all of this food vegetation and water are regularly changed they are never wasted. Even the water is used to make things like a cup of tea, so that it will not be wasted. There are a lot of different offerings that the Buddhists practice and they do this not to make the Buddha happy, or because he needs them and they do...
