Why is there suffering in the world? Christians believe that suffering comes through the freewill. The reason for this is that because a human being has freewill he/she can decide to follow the path they want which could be the good or the evil one. But why does God allow evil things to happen? God allows evil things happening because he wants humans to worship him freely, not to act automatically. The existence of free will brings the possibility with it of evil choices. God does not want evil. He just creates humans who make evil choices. However, it is not completely the humans fault because there is someone who tries to lead them to the wrong path which is the Devil (Satan). He is there to distract people from the correct and good path of life. He wants them to commit sins and to loose their faith in God and his mighty...
