God does not play dice, discuss. The argument that we can prove god exists from the way in which our world is designed has existed for thousands of years. This is known as the design argument, or teleological argument for God. It is an a posteriori argument and considers that the world is not in existence by chance Socrates stated "with such signs of forethought in the design of our living creatures, can you doubt they are the work of choice and design?" However, many modern scientists argue against the existence of God, saying that science can crush the ideas of the God of classical theism, that is, benevolent, omnipotent and omniscient. In order to establish an opinion on whether God in fact does play dice, or whether everything on earth has been designed for its purpose, or maybe even question his existence at all, many theories have to be examined....
