Serene Farah Can something be "True"? Can something or a statement be "true" or is it conditional? Comment using examples between 300-400 words. The truth is linked to knowledge. When something is "true" then it corresponds to known facts. But when do we know that a fact is actually "true"? We are taught both the knowledge and the skill that helps us decide whether something is "true" or "false". Yet the application of this skill seems to be different in different situations, and consequently, the meaning of true or false might vary as well. When we think of the word "true", we think of something absolute. But if we look into the past, we would find that "truth" has been continuously replaced by new "truths".
