Have a little read: ... When most people think of confidence, they usually think of confidence within themselves. But besides being confident in the way you carry yourself or appearance; having confidence in your ability to make decisions, skills, or talents are equally important. Confidence is the key to being successful in life because it directly correlates with self-esteem. Without confidence, my motivation to excel in school deteriorated. Since I did not believe that I was capable to make honor roll, as a result my self-esteem was lowered. I stopped trying as hard to get an "A" on assignments, friends of mine would always ask me I if I were sad, I no longer wanted to socialize in big crowds, and so I isolated myself from people that I use to find common interest in. For once in my life I felt like an outsider and by not doing the things I enjoyed I brought
