What factors affect the rate of refraction?

... Mark Dougherty What factors affect the rate of refraction? Aim To investigate the factors which affect the rate of refraction. Factors and variables The factors and variables that affect the rate of refraction are; Angle of incidence, nature of surface, wavelength and density of object. I have chosen to change the angle of incidence because it will be simple to vary and will give accurate results which are easy to obtain. Fair test table Angle of incidence 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 Density Same Same Same Same Same Same Same Same Wavelength Same Same Same Same Same Same Same Same Surface Glass Glass Glass Glass Glass Glass Glass Glass I will keep these factors the same by using the glass block each time to keep the factors the same and will also use the same light box each time. There is no need to go up to record 10degrees because although the light will slow down it won't bend because it's going down the normal. Also its not worth going up to 90 degrees because it wont enter the block. Prediction I predict that when you double the angle of incidence you double
