In this project, I am investigating relationships between the goals scored and the times in which they are scored. This coursework will be based around football matches. I will collect all my information from a data sheet which contains all the football games in the English league. I will choose a pattern for the games that I have chosen e.g. I will record the results of every 3 games. I will choose a certain number of matches and make tables and graphs due to the results of these matches. I have chosen 70 football matches and have analysed each of the results. In those matches there have been goals scored, goals conceded and bookings received. Due to these results, I have made some hypotheses.
