I am going to start by describing the scientific theory behind my chosen topic, Is Sunbathing Dangerous? I am also going to find evidence for and against sunbathing being dangerous. I am going to show my feelings towards sunbathing. Lastly I make a conclusion to whether sunbathing is actually dangerous or not and why. SCIENTIFIC THEORY Sunbathing good or bad? The sun emits different types of radiation For example * infra-red rays which produce heat * visible rays which are nothing else but light rays * ultra-violet rays which are not visible to the human eye The sun's UV rays, which most affect our skin and makes more and more melanin. This Melanin makes our skin tan or in some peoples cases burn and destroy the skin's layers. These ultra violet rays are split up into two types * ultraviolet A rays (UVA) * ultraviolet B rays (UVB) The
