The input variable is: * How far the elastic band is stretched The out come variable is: * How far the plastic beaker is flirted The controlled variables are: * Air Resistance * Temperature of the Plastic Cup * Temperature of the Elastic Band * Size of the Elastic Band * Mass of the cup I think in my experiment the further you stretch back the elastic band; the further the plastic cup will be flirted. According to Hooke's Law this will only happen until the elastic band reaches the elastic limit. To some extent, most materials all show elastic behaviour, but there is a limit to the amount of the force it can withstand and how far it will stretched before it goes back to...
