Aim: To find out how the length of wire affects its resistance. Prediction As the length of wire increases the resistance will increase. I have predicted this as I know as electricity is the flow of electrons called an electrical flow. I found out that the more nuclei that were in the way of the electrons the greater the resistance. This is because the electrons travel through the wire in which they make contact against the nuclei as they make up the wire. As the longer the wire gets the more of the nuclei that are going to be or that the electrons have to get past the so this makes it more difficult for these electrons to pass through a longer piece of wire.
