Have a little read: ... Factors That Affect the Resistance of a Wire Planning; The aim of this experiment is to find out what factors affect the resistance of the wire. The variable I am going to change is the length of the wire. To keep the test fair I will keep; * The wire type * The wire thickness * The number of cells the same as these will be the controls. I am going to record and analyse these results. The circuit I am gong to use looks like this, In this experiment I am investigating resistance. Resistance is where electrons in a circuit have to go through a wire or bulb etc that is harder to get through than the wire. Therefore the electrons lose their energy which gives off heat and energy. What causes it is the electrons having to fight their way through the resistor (in this case the piece of metal) losing their energy, they do
