Electronics Coursework FANTASY CARWASH Statement of Problem The Car wash is using too much water to wash each car, so I will design a system which triggers the motor to pump water out for 20 seconds then stops. Solution The will be a pressure pad on the floor and when it is pressed it triggers the monostable, the motor turns from a logic 0 to 1. The Motor runs for 20 seconds and then is triggered off by the monostable, the car may then exit. Alternative solution Instead of a drive through carwash the customer can wash their car themselves by using the help yourself machine. Once the coins have been inserted the machine pumps water out for 20 seconds and then stops until more coins are inserted.
