An experiment to find how the length of a wire affects the resistance Aim In this experiment I am going to find how the length of a wire may affects the resistance and voltage. Processes I will consider the connection between the length of wire and the electrical resistance being given off. I will change the length of the wire, but I am going to try to keep temperature and the diameter constant the same. The voltage and current will have to be steady before I attempt to work out the resistance. Method I will set up a circuit that is very similar to the diagram below. I will take the battery and connect it to the amp meter. This will measure the amperage/current in the wire.
