Thushanthan Shanmugarasa OUT of CONTROL "You're never going to enter the championship with that speed!" yelled Mr. Arnold. Jimmy always wanted to qualify for the 1400m junior's marathon. Jimmy put his name up on the shortlist, where Mr Arnold had agreed to take him on and train him. A tall, powerfully built former athlete, Mr Arnold never seemed satisfied with any of his pupil's attainment. His own athletic career had sadly been ruined when he severely broke his leg falling down some steps. As a result of this he now walked with a limp that made him look like he was not stable or balanced.
