My First Time As the hands flew up and the cheers from the crowd whaled around the arena, the sense of relief that welled up inside both players and staff alike was indescribable. The tunnel was formed as with all well fought games, the hip, hip hoorays were hoorayed and my first game for the Bolton School first team was officially over. The preperation had already begun three weeks prior to our opening day fixture. We began with only light training sessions gradually building up the intensity of each and every area of the training we were all participating in, and every new and old squad member living in hope of getting that starting berth for their position, for the first game of the brand new season.
