We are doing a Health Promoting Physical Exercise Programme for two reasons: one is because it is part of our GCSE P.E course, secondly to improve our fitness. We could choose it as General Fitness or specific fitness program. General Fitness to improve our self generally to become generally fitter all over the body. Specific fitness to improve in a certain way for a chosen activity. The facilities available at Walton to develop a health promoting physical exercise program are limited. Firstly the indoor facilities we can use are the hall or the gym. The outdoor facilities are the tennis courts or the field. The off site facilities we can use are the Pendle leisure centre in Colne.
