How can you improve Marlene's Physical well being? Marlene also needs to be exercising regularly. This is very important in overweight people as they have a much higher risk of heart disease and heart attack if they overeat and do little exercise. Regular exercise will build up Marlene's confidence, It will relieve stress, It will improve her self esteem, it will also give Marlene a general feeling of well being also it's a great way for her to socialise with other people. Exercise will change her body composition. It increases the amount of muscle and will help to reduce her fat levels. Marlene should be aiming to do aerobic exercise (using oxygen). Aerobic exercise can include walking, jobbing, bike riding, or swimming. Her maximum heart rate should be roughly 140 bpm (beats per minute). Exercise should start off at an easy paste. Eventually she should be looking to do about 30 minutes exercise at least...
