As time went by, the pupils' heart rate increased with time until each reached a peak which corresponds with the time the exercise was terminated after 10 minutes. It is after this that the heart rate begins to coming down gradually with time before getting back to their normal resting pulses. This however happened at different rates and times for each of the participants in the exercise.
