... Effect Of Exercise On Pulse Rate Aim: My aim is to find out the effect of exercise on my pulse rate. Prediction: I think when my pulse rate will increase if I increase the amount of exercise I do, because my heart will beat faster, this means more respiration will take place in my body also I will sweat and my facial colour will change to red. Hypothesis: When I exercise my leg muscles require energy, the more I exercise; more energy is needed because the muscles contract and relax more. My leg muscles get energy by respiration. Oxygen + Glucose ----> Carbon dioxide + Water + Energy This takes place in the muscle cells to get them energy to move. The more exercise I do the more energy my body will need by respiration. For me to keep doing the exercise the muscles need glucose and oxygen. These are carried to the muscles by blood. The
