History of Pop- Art Pop art exploded on to the scene in the fifties and sixties. The world was changing and so were people's ideas about art. Pop artists wanted to bring life and art closer together, so they drew normal objects that were important to ordinary people. Burgers, sweets and cans of pop - all your fave stuff was turned into pop-tactic masterpieces. The term first appeared in Britain during the 1950s and meant to the interest of a number of designs in the images of mass media , advertising , comics . in the 1950 and 60s pop art seemed became very fashionable , for example in some artists work like the Beatles on there front cover they have pop art designs . pop art was first introduced in England then it spread to America then all over the world . there are many different artist than emerged...
