Have a little read: ... 02/11/09 Block 4 Biology: Mrs. Gilbert "Charles Darwin" Have you ever considered yourself a scientist? Have you made observations or studied an object to see reactions to the environment or another object. Many people in life have studied things in our universe from the pure reason of curiosity. Famous people like Newton, and his laws of gravity, or Galileo and the study of stars and telescopes; one person who might not come to mind when you say the word scientist is Charles Darwin. Yet Charles Darwin is responsible for one of the most controversial theory in science. The controversy began since he first theorized it and continues to be debated today, not just within the scientific community. The debate has even found its way to some courts of law. Born in February on the twelfth of 1809, Charles childhood was majorly influenced by his father who was interested in botany and zoology.
