Comparing a tabloid newspaper with a broadsheet newspaper For my tabloid newspaper, I have chosen "News of the World", and for my broadsheet newspaper, I have chosen "The Independent on Sunday". The News of the World has a variety of different lettering styles, ranging from the large, bold headlines to the standard newspaper font used for the main bodies of the articles. The main headline on the front page stands out very much compared to The Independent on Sunday's main headline. The lettering styles for The Independent on Sunday are more sophisticated than those of the News of the World. The main headline is quite a bit smaller. The first thing that grabbed my attention on the front page of the News of the World was the large advertisement for the free DVD of "Scrooge" that came with the newspaper.
