The first thing you see is the stock setting. This is a big desk with one or two news presenters. Behind the presenter(s) you can see in the distance a lot of news desks with people sitting down with computers and a telephone headset. The news programme tends to start with an overhead shot (bird's eye) which then moves towards the news presenter(s). The beginning also starts with loud music to keep the audience alert and interested. The presenter then begins by allowing the audience to predict the news by saying some thing like, "...coming up; who is this man?" or, "Was it really Germany who created this new form of terror?"
