Because an accent is something that is found in the spoken word it is very hard to portray in written text. This can often result in confusion and misinterpretation on the behalf of the reader. One of the reasons for this is because words are spelt phonetically, which, if the reader has a different accent, means they will vary throughout the regions, thus making it unsuitable for general reading. The first thing you notice when reading this text is that it is very hard to understand due to the large amount of elision.
