Document Analysis I am going to analyse a document used by the college learning centre. I am going to describe what techniques they use and how effective they are. The first document I'm doing is a poster telling you how to behave in the learning centre. Styles of writing and presentation The language used in the document is pretty simple with a lot of short sentences used it is aimed at people ages 14+ - it's simple, but not too simple. Also considering the document is an informative poster, huge quantities of complex information wouldn't be suitable. It would be hard to read from a distance. So the writing style does suit the type of document this is. It is an informal document because it's just a poster and for example they use the letter 4 instead of the word four and paragraphs haven't been used. Which proves it's informal. The reason...
