How can one distinguish between factual reporting, interpretation and distortion when reading articles? I have chosen the Iraqi-American conflict as my topic for this essay, I think that these two countries have a lot of history and are in constant conflict. The sources that I have chosen are from CNN.com, which is more or less neutral, since it's international, MSNBC.com, which will give us the American perspective, and Islam Online, which will give us the Islamic perspective. Each article will change some of the words to suit their country and their readers, and to please them, and make them look good. We can start with MSNBC, this is a very American News source, they want to make the US seem like the good guys and give the Islam's and the Iraqis a bad reputation.
