Deconstruction of Smoking Leaflet The front of the leaflet is not colourful it is mainly black and white but has a translucent centre picture to attract passers by. The white against the black background stands out to the passers by. Once the reader is attracted to the white writing it becomes apparent that the leaflet is about smoking by being able to see the translucent picture of a hand squashing the cigarette packet. The writing in the centre "Give it Up!" needs no other information around it as behind the writing is the picture of cigarettes so it is known that "Give it Up"" means give up smoking. At the bottom there is a question, a question always people want to answer it. This question gets people thinking subconsciously about when to give up smoking. The inside of the leaflet uses the same style as the front. This keeps the leaflet simple...
