... Analyse the Final Empire State Scene and Death of Kong in 'King Kong'. Compare the 1933 Version directed by Merian Cooper and the 2005 version directed by Peter Jackson and the Effect it would have on the Contemporary Audience. There have been several versions of the film 'King Kong' although I will be comparing the 1933 version directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack and the 2005 version directed by the famous director Peter Robert Jackson who directed The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He is the winner of three Academy Awards. The special effects and camera techniques used in the two versions of 'King Kong' are very different because of the lack of technology being available in 1933 compared to 2005. I will be focusing on the differences in animation methods of Kong and the relationships between Kong and Ann Darrow. Merian C. Cooper used stop motion animation
