How Have Film Posters altered and developed form 1971 to 2005 with reference to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)? The 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' poster was produced in 1971 by a television production company, David L. Wolper. The more recent 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' poster was produced by a larger company, Warner Brothers. Both companies produced their film posters in order to promote and advertise their film. If people saw and liked their posters, it would tempt them to go and see the film. David L. Wolper is a television production company, so it did not have as much as money to spend on a marketing campaign, and this would suggest why the film poster looks less impressive than the more recent one. Whereas Warner Brothers is an extremely large company, one which will have had lots of money...
