Math's coursework Areas under curves. There are a number of different ways to find the area under a curve. 1. To draw a triangle OAB and work out the area of the triangle (as shown in diagram A) 2. To draw separate small rectangles under the line, work out their separate areas and then adding the areas together (as shown in diagram B) 3.
