I have now found the greatest area for a Rectangle and a Triangle. The area of a rectangle is greater than the area of a triangle so I am now going to find out the area for a pentagon. And because the maximum area for triangle and a rectangle came when they were regular, all the sides were the same length so I am going to find the area for a regular pentagon. To find the area for a pentagon I am going to split the pentagon into 5 triangles. The base of the triangle will be 1000 divided by 5 because then all the sides of the pentagon will be equal. Also I can find the angle by dividing 360 by 5 because the interior angles of the pentagon add up to 360 º and there are 5 triangles. I am now going to do a Hexagon and I am going to...
