Introduction: I am investigating the hypothesis "summers are getting hotter" From my own general knowledge; I believe that this is true as people are becoming more and more concerned about global warming. To prove this I will use systematic sampling to sort out my data and then use a number of graphs to represent it and show a trend. I will also find out the mean of different centuries. From the methods that I use, I shall hopefully be able to tell whether summers are actually getting hotter. Method: Collecting Data: I collected the data from www.metoffice.gov.uk I chose to find the average of each of the summer months (June, July and August).
