GCSE Mathematics Coursework Aim The aim of this investigation is to distinguish if a relationship exists or can be established between the height and weight of students ageing from 12 yrs to 16 yrs in year groups 7 to 11 in a mixed in a boys and girls school. To execute this investigation I have to acquire information from Mayfield School survey, this will provide me with the relevant data which will be interrogated and analysed to investigate the hypothesis. Prediction The hypothesis for this investigation, in relation to the aim, is that the taller the person the heavier their body weight for both boys and girls. But that this proportion is different between girls and boys. The ratio of weight to height is lower for girls than for boys.
