Statistics Maths Coursework Introduction: Mayfield School is a secondary school of 1183 pupils aged 11-16 years of age. For my statistics coursework I am going to do an investigation about a sample of Mayfield High School which will include 1183 students. Task One: I will investigate the relationship between the IQ and the English and Maths KS2 Sats results. I have chosen the sample size 100 as it is an easy number and as it is a large number the results will be more accurate and reliable; also the number is easy to work with. As there 1183 students it will be hard for me to find the relationship between all of them therefore I will do stratified sampling to get a certain amount of people from each year and then will find the relationship between them.
