Mathematics Mayfield Coursework I have been given information about 1183 students about a fictitious school called Mayfield high school; this includes both male and female students from Y7-Y11. I have been given information about the such as: year group, name(s), age and month of birth, gender, eye colour, hair colour, whether they are left or right handed, favourite colour, favourite music, favourite subject, favourite colour, hours of TV per week, IQ, height, weight, distance between home and school, means of travel to school, number of siblings, number of pets and key stage 2 results. The data has not been collected directly by me so therefore it is secondary. I will be using various statistical methods to either prove or disprove my hypothesis.
