Mixed Gender Investigation Aim The aim of this investigation is to examine genuine student data from Mayfield High School and establish whether there is a correlation between a persons height and weight. I will be given 1183 pieces of genuine data and I will extract from the spreadsheet the height and weight of each student and therefore be able to assess if there is a correlation between the two variables. I hope to obtain a formula, which represents the relationship between height and weight. Hypothesis I believe that the correlation between height and weight will be a positive strong correlation. I think this is because as you grow taller there is more build up of your body and therefore more of you resulting in an increase in weight.
