Statistics Maths Coursework - Mayfield High School Introduction: In this piece of coursework I have been given data from a fictional school "Mayfield High" but the information I have been given is that it is very similar to date from a real school. Mayfield High is a secondary school of 1183 pupils aged 11-16 years of age. For my statistics coursework I am going to do an investigation about a sample of Mayfield High School which will include 1183 students. Task One: I will investigate the relationship between the IQ and the English and Maths KS2 Sats results. I have chosen the sample size 100 as it is an easy number and as it is a large number the results will be more accurate and reliable; also the number is easy to work with.
