Collecting the data Mayfield High School is a school for 11-16 year olds. The line of inquiry, which I will use to investigate the school, is the relation between height and weight. I will take a random sample of the school by giving each student a number and creating a random number between 0 and 1 using the random number button on my calculator (RAN#). Then I will multiply this number by 1183 to create a number between 1 and 1183. I will do this until I get a sample of 30 boys and 30 girls.
